Cyberpunk 2077 continues to be among the best-looking open-world role-playing games released in the past few years, thanks to some impressive mods that push its visuals further in terms of realism, like the DreamPunk graphics overhaul mod.

A new video shared a few days ago by NextGen Dreams showcases the game running with the 1.1 version of the mod, which features a complete rework of all weather conditions and lighting, a custom LUT for SDR and HDR, improved ray tracing and path tracing and more. Thanks to the high quality of this graphics overhaul, some of the sequences featured in the video could pass for real-life sequences.

Reaching new levels of realism in Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be the main goal for several modders. Digital Dreams attempted to do so, as seen in a new 8K resolution video, using the Real City Modlist and the latest version of the Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing mod, which introduces multiple quality improvements to modes and quality for an improved path tracing experience.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. The Phantom Liberty expansion is now available only on PC and current-generation consoles, introducing a new location and one of the best stories told in Night City, as highlighted by Alessio in his review.
