Apple launched the new iPhone 16 lineup last month with some pretty nifty upgrades that redefine how you use some of the existing features. All models received a new Camera Control Button, and the standard models also received last year's Action Button that can translate multiple features as a shortcut. Amid all these new buttons, some users could be confused about how to turn off their new iPhone 16 Pro or the standard models.
This is how you can easily turn off your new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models easily
If you are switching from an Android device to the iPhone 16 or the iPhone 16 Pro, you might want to learn how to turn off the device without any hassle. There are two ways through which you can turn off your device, and we will be going through both so you have a better understanding of it.
The process is fairly simple and does not require any hassle. All you have to do is follow the step-by-step instructions below to turn off your iPhone 16 models. Here's what you have to do.
Step 1: The first thing that you have to do is simultaneously press and hold the Side/Power button and either Volume Up or Volume Down button.

Step 2: Keep on pressing the buttons mentioned above until the Power Off Slider appears on stage.
Step 3: Once it does, simply drag the Power Slider to turn off your iPhone 16 or the iPhone 16 Pro.
This is all that you have to do to turn off your iPhone, and if you think this process is a bit complex for you, you can always turn off your device using the Settings app. Follow the instructions below to learn how you can do that.
Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your iPhone 16.
Step 2: Navigate to General and go all the way down.
Step 3: Tap on Shut Down, and the Power Slider will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Drag the Power Slider to turn off your iPhone.
Both of these operations are fairly simple and does not require any major hassle. The process is the same on older versions of the iPhone with Face ID, but the Touch ID operation could be different, but you can learn that from Apple's official website.
