MSI Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition has made a dominant entry into the market, featuring the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU along with top-tier specs.

MSI's Flagship Ryzen Gaming Laptop, The Titan 18 PRO, Focuses On Providing Cutting-Edge Performance Through AMD's Dragon Range Platform

When we say "exclusive," we mean it. AMD's Ryzen 9 7945HX3D, despite being one of the most powerful CPUs on the market, hasn't seen much industry adoption. This is not because it isn't popular but because the integrator would need to max out on everything before utilizing this piece of hardware.

The only laptop to feature the processor is none other than ASUS's ROG SCAR 17 X3D, which was the first one to use the 3D V-Cache technology in the Dragon Range family, but it looks like MSI has joined the list with its newest Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition laptop, focusing on providing the best. We reported earlier on a leak by Golden Pig Upgrade, who disclosed that AMD plans to integrate top-tier Dragon Range CPUs into more gaming laptops, and it looks like MSI was next on the list.

MSI has multiple Titan 18 models for consumers, with regional differences in them, such as the Titan 18 HX, which features Intel's Core i9-14900HX, but the newest Titan 18 Pro Ryzen focuses on integrating the best out of Team Red's camp. Regarding the CPU, the laptop features the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D, as discussed earlier, which packs a 16-core and 32-thread configuration implemented in a dual CCD layout. It features a boost frequency of 5.4 GHz, comes with a 55W+ TDP, and utilizes the 3D V-Cache technology. Hence, you can only wonder the performance one can get out of it.

Well, being a top-notch offering, one can only assume that the Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition will come with NVIDIA's RTX 4090 mobile GPU onboard, and that is the case, so we won't go into much detail about it. In terms of the screen, the laptop features an 18-inch panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition boasts a 240 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, ensuring the best quality for hardcore gamers and professionals.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop features 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and several other USB 3.2 interfaces as well; hence, there is nothing to worry about here. The only downside is that with the AMD platform, you won't get USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 support; hence, that might disappoint consumers. For pricing, the Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition retails for 21,999 RMB or $3,050 and is currently listed on Chinese marketplaces. Global availability hasn't been confirmed yet.
