The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich comes with fries by default, but you can substitute them for another side. The other side options at Pinocchio Village Haus are breadsticks, tomato basil soup, or a side Caesar salad.

The chicken strips are tasty and crispy with a nice texture. It’s hard to go wrong with marinara, mozzarella, and parmesan, and this dish delivers what you’d expect for the classic combo. The flavors bolster the chicken, with marinara as the prominent note.

The weakness of this dish is the roll. It’s dry, crispy, and quite large, making it more difficult to eat. The sauce and cheese don’t add enough moisture to make the roll go down easily, and it brings the dish down as a whole.

Overall, the quality is on par with the other menu items here, but it’s nice to have as an option when, typically, the restaurant serves primarily flatbread pizzas. If you’re looking to switch things up a little, this isn’t a bad choice. It’s also filling, so those in search of a quick snack would do best elsewhere.
