Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- A guest at Magic Kingdom was spotted refilling their water bottle with a water feature in the queue of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been added to the virtual queue section of the My Disney Experience mobile app ahead of Annual Passholder previews.
- Disney will conduct fireworks testing in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 12, likely for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
- Tortuga Tavern appears to be closed indefinitely at Magic Kingdom, and has been shuttered to guests since at least Friday, June 7.
EPCOT
- The years-long EPCOT reimagining is now complete, and we’re taking a look back at every project that did and didn’t come to fruition.
- CommuniCore Plaza at EPCOT hosts the live band La Calle in the evenings, and we were there to capture a performance.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- To celebrate the 30th anniversary of “The Lion King,” Disney is adding MagicBand+ interactions to “Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
New Merchandise
- After debuting at Disneyland Resort for Pixar Fest 2024, the Alien Pizza Planet Truck popcorn bucket has arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- New Walt Disney World-themed T-shirts, sweatshirts, and a Spirit Jersey have arrived at the resort.
- The Slinky Dog Sipper from Pixar Fest 2024 has also arrived at Walt Disney World.

- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon was temporarily closed on Tuesday due to a thunderstorm in the area.
Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland Resort is reportedly cutting more entertainment from Disney California Adventure, including Five & Dime and Avengers Assemble.
