Disney Parks Blog stated the show “has even more magic” during this summer’s celebration, implying the interactivity may only be available June 10 – September 6. Guests who wear a MagicBand+ to the show will see it “come to life with dancing lights and haptic vibrations during key moments throughout the show.”

The pictured MagicBand+ appears to be a version of a band released on Disney Store for the film’s 30th anniversary. The MagicBand+ has not been released at Disney Parks yet.

The 30th anniversary celebration also includes Rafiki and Timon meet and greets, special menu items, Pandora jewelry charms, and merchandise.

“The Lion King” will return to theaters next month for its 30th anniversary. After a June 12, 1994 premiere at Radio City Music Hall, the Walt Disney Animation Studios film was released in two theaters on June 15, followed by a wide release on June 24.
