In addition to details about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights, Walt Disney World has announced several returning holiday experiences throughout the resort.
2024 Holiday Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort
Fan-favorite Merry Menagerie will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The menagerie features artisan-sculpted winter puppets roaming Discovery Island. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy will also have festive attire at the park.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, “Sunset Seasons Greetings,” a yuletide projection show returns on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. In Toy Story Land, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear will add holiday touches to their outfits.
Magic Kingdom will host “Frozen Holiday Surprise” in front of Cinderella Castle. The show, which debuted last year, features Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies.
At Disney Springs, guests enjoy the Christmas Tree Stroll and magical snowfall in Town Center.
Santa Claus will appear at all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Water Parks.
Walt Disney World Hotel Offer
Walt Disney World Resort hotels are decked out during the holidays with Christmas trees, garlands, and gingerbread displays. Starting on June 27, guests can save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights from Nov. 24 to Dec. 25, plus other savings for stays most Sunday to Thursday nights between Oct. 6 to Nov. 21. Guests can also get a free Park Hopper option added to their tickets when they upgrade to a Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a non-discounted 4-day or longer date-based ticket.
