“I’m advocating for others at a time in their lives when they need help the most. My clients are hurting physically and emotionally and this is often combined with financial strain,” he said.

“I can’t help the physical pain, but I try my best to take the rest off their plate so they can just focus on getting better. I know I’m making a difference in the lives of people I represent,” Trollop said.

One of Trollop’s memorable cases was held during the pandemic right after the courts reopened. Not only did everyone wear masks, only six jurors were used. The jury delivered a favorable judgement for his client.

“Attempting to get a feel from the jury during the trial, seeing only eyes (because of the face masks), was next to impossible,” Trollop said. “We were also concerned with how the plaintiff could connect to the jury … again with so much space between everyone and while wearing a mask … but we were still able to make it.”
