Monte Weiss devotes most of his practice to the defense of bodily injury, property damage and products liability cases on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured entities.

The founder of Weiss Law Office S.C. in Mequon, he represents insurance carriers with insurance contract interpretation issues, claims of bad faith and other complex insurance coverage matters.

Weiss has also drafted several personal lines property and casualty insurance policies, including homeowner and automobile policies.

Weiss has extensive courtroom experience, including arguing cases in front of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Since 2009, he has helped with the regulatory system governing state attorneys, serving on the District Investigation Committee Two of the Office of Lawyer Regulation. That involvement helps Weiss better serve his clients in the defense of legal malpractice claims and grievances with and complaints filed by the OLR.

Weiss also educates the public through articles he has written regarding insurance coverage and other insurance industry topics. He often speaks on the same topics.
