All establishments should adopt this practice, if you ask us.

Sheet masks have officially reached critical mass. At Chez Maxim Oriental in Montreal, sheet masks are being given to customers post meal in lieu of more traditional fortune cookies, according to users on Reddit’s Skincare Addiction board.

One user took to the group to share, “The waiter at this Chinese restaurant gave me face masks with the bill and said my boss wanted me to have them. Made my skin really nice this morning!” In response, another noted, “They do give these to everyone! I've gone before a couple of times and they gave me and my friends 2 each.”

It seems as though this was not a (very wonderful) fluke in the service at Chez Maxim, The Cut confirms. TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews share similar stories, as users have written notes such as, “Tea is included and the owner gives ladies a face mask after the meal.” Another added, “At the end of the meal we were given some of those Korean sheet face masks with our bill!  Random, but provided some good entertainment for the hotel later.” Our only (friendly) suggestion: everyone could use a skin boost, so why not give sheet masks to people other than just the ladies?

There is no word yet on what kind of sheet masks are being handed out at Chez Maxim, but the restauranteur has more than enough options to choose from that would save beauty-loving patrons a fortune on the trendy product: gold ones, ones made of sea kelp, or even ones featuring pictures of sliced fruit.
