I Don't Think We've Adequately Discussed Lizzo's Supermodel Selfie

Nobody does selfies like Lizzo. The musician and Yitty founder hadn't blessed our timelines with a snap in a while and realized it was "About Damn Time" (sorry) to share one — and she picked a total banger of a beauty look to feature. The hair! The brows! The blush! It's all sooo good.

"Haven't given y'all a selfie in a while… you welcome," the star captioned her carousel. In the pics, she wears a white Yitty bikini bra top and matching underwear set with a pair of light-wash jeans for a '90s-supermodel-in-a-Calvin-Klein-ad vibe, especially when paired with a tousled, voluminous blowout reminiscent of the iconic Cindy Crawford Pepsi commercial look. Lizzo's hair is pushed to one side and worn in loose waves down her back, and her brows are perfectly sculpted into thick, precise arches. A warm deep brownish-pink shadow blended out into a wing shape with lots of smoky, diffused eyeliner kept the flirtatious vibe going, as did her bright pink flushed cheeks with color concentrated right at the cheekbone for a throwback feel. Long, fluttery false lashes, a lined pinky-brown lip, and a square-tipped French manicure were the perfect finishing touch for Lizzo's model moment.

The selfies in question were a behind-the-scenes peek at a recent Yitty photoshoot where the star made a statement about bodily autonomy and encouraged others to join the fight to protect abortion rights. "My body is NOBODY'S business," the star wrote, adding that Yitty's mission isn't just to liberate bodies through clothing but also by raising awareness and speaking up. Lizzo has also recently addressed body shaming, saying that the discourse around her body is "tired" and she didn't sign up to represent everyone's body and beauty standards. "I'm going to do whatever I want with this body," she shared in early January. "I wish that comments costed you all money. So we can see how much time we are fucking wasting on the wrong thing."

That's what we love about Lizzo — she's never afraid to stand up, speak up and show up.
