Sheet Masks for Your Lips Are a Thing—and We're Obsessed

You know how your skin feels plump, smooth, and dewy right after using a sheet mask? Imagine that sensation—but on your lips. We recently discovered that Patchology, a brand known for its sheet masks and undereye patches, now has lip-shaped gel patches that rejuvenate dry, peely, parched lips the same way face masks do. And they're amazing.

Unlike typical lip balms, these patches help concentrate the ingredients and prevent them from evaporating, delivering serious hydration for as long as you can leave them on. The thin hydrogel stays put pretty well so I was able to comfortably work in one (and write this story) for about ten minutes. My fellow tester and I were both highly impressed with the moisturizing aspect—our chapped winter lips were significantly softer and more hydrated when we peeled the lip masks off.

Spiked with peptides (to soften lines and wrinkles), green tea extract (to soothe irritation), and niacinamide (to prevent water loss), these powerhouse lip gels are a serious upgrade from plain old lip balm. Sure, they're a bit pricey at $50 for a pack of 24 patches, but trust me, they're well worth it for the smooth, lipstick-ready results (and the weird-looking selfies).
