Just days after her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, Rihanna is giving fans more of what they came for: a sweet sneak peek into her family life with partner A$AP Rocky and their baby, plus some major beauty inspo.
Rih and fam are on the cover of the March issue of British Vogue, walking together on a beach in all-black ensembles, even baby. (The baby is referred to solely as "Baby" in the interview; Rih and Rocky haven't released his name.) The fashion is fabulous, of course, but it's Rihanna's wild waves and smoky eyes that really grabbed our attention.
The super voluminous waves with bangs, which Rihanna wears throughout the photo spread, are reminiscent of Tina Turner's signature '80s look, cut with a shaggy texture for extra movement and edge. The style pairs perfectly with the all-black looks she and her family wear in the shoot and makes for a super cool contrast in the photos with her extremely adorable baby; she's not a regular mom, she's a Rihanna mom, after all!
As for her makeup, the Fenty Beauty founder kept all the focus on her eyes, which truly smolder under the choppy bangs. Her eyes are smoked up with a bronze shadow on top and lots of deep, dark black liner on the lower lashlines and her waterlines. A bit of contour on her cheeks, a dewy highlight and a hint of gloss set the foundation for that rock 'n roll dark eye. Is Rihanna teasing a new era as a frontwoman for a metal band? She did tell the magazine that she wants to release a new album "this year."
The Tina Turner '80s rock look really works for the star, as did the all-red beauty moment she chose for her Super Bowl show. The star never sticks to one look for too long, so we're eagerly awaiting what's next from RiRi.
