“It sounds like you need a Beauty Elixir!” Rosie Huntington-Whiteley tells me via phone, laughing. I’ve answered her “How are you?” by awkwardly describing how sweaty I am in my apartment office, considering I had to turn the fan off to chat with her. (Spoiler alert: My sweaty skin really did need a Beauty Elixir.)

, which is why it makes total sense that the brand tapped her to be the brand’s official skincare ambassador. They’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Beauty Elixir with a limited-edition gold bottle, and Rosie can’t get enough of it.

“It’s a product I have really enjoyed using for years now,” she said, adding that she first discovered it at a fashion show. “It’s a versatile product, and I use it throughout my entire day.” She told me that she keeps a bottle of Beauty Elixir near her almost all the time; you can find it by her bed, in her car, in her gym bag, in her fridge, and in her beauty cabinet. “I love whipping it out of my bag when I’m with friends,” she said. “They get excited; I’ve never met anyone who didn’t think it was incredible.”

Caudalie’s toning mist has long been one of the most popular facial sprays on the market — and one of the first to really make a splash, pun intended. While the market is currently overflowing with potions for consumers to spritz on their faces, the Beauty Elixir stands out from all the rest. It’s got a cult following of beauty enthusiasts, makeup artists, and celebrities alike, and it’s super versatile.

Beauty Elixir’s versatility is what Rosie loves about it, too. “It tones and tightens, boosts radiance, sets makeup …” she said. “It’s refreshing and rejuvenating!” She even loves its reviving minty scent. “For me it’s one of the most incredible scents. It transports me away for a moment in time and relaxes me” (one of the reasons why Beauty Elixir is a must-have on plane rides too).

Like many of Caudalie’s products, Beauty Elixir is formulated with grape extracts for instant radiance and glow power. “I’ve tried a lot of elixirs, spritzers, and toners over the years, but I always think Beauty Elixir is unique and different.” Rosie said. In addition to the grape extract, Beauty Elixir also contains rosemary, mint, and rose essential oils, which tone and prep the skin for makeup, or provide a refreshing, cooling burst. “There’s no right or wrong way to use it,” she said. “

Rosie, a noted skincare enthusiast, also loves Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. “It’s exactly what it says; it leaves skin looking beautiful and radiant.” She’s learned her fair share of skincare lessons from her years behind-the-scenes on photoshoots, and one of her top tips is to invest in good skincare products. “I think it’s always worth it. You only get one skin!” Rosie said. “[My skin] is the canvas of what I do … I actually struggle with my skin a little, and it’s made me kind of invest time and energy into finding those products. One of the things I love about Caudalie [is that] the products have always worked really well for my skin.”

The limited-edition gold Beauty Elixir launches August 1st on US.Caudalie.com and is available through December, making it the ideal holiday gift for literally anyone on your list, supermodel or no.
