Setup was easy and bloatware was relatively light. As others have mentioned, it's best to uninstall McAfee right away to rely on Windows Defender, then replace Armory Crate with G-Helper (same function, smaller load on the computer). I didn't see much else for unnecessary addons.
The 16GB RAM was a bit disappointing with no option to upgrade, but the blessing is that ASUS designs their laptops in a way that makes it EXTREMELY easy to upgrade RAM + SSD which is why I opted for their brand. Strongly recommend getting 32GB to make for an even better experience. It does make a big difference when gaming or multi tasking.
The laptop handles games well and, unlike some gaming laptops, doesn't sound like a jet taking off under load. It does run pretty warm, so don't keep it on your lap. Get a lap desk to allow the laptop to breath and protect your legs.
