I used to buy Charmin. I can’t stand cheap toilet paper. There’s nothing worse than your hand going though the paper lol. When you cheap out on toilet paper you just end up using a lot more each time so you have to buy it more often. Which doesn’t save you money. After my husband passed away and becoming a single mom in needed to find any way I would to save money. After reading the reviews for this tissue I decided to give it a try. That was a year ago and I haven't regretted it since. It’s good toilet paper. You don’t have to use a lot at once. It doesn’t leave little pieces behind. It was decently soft though. The price is good. When I got the first roll out of my last order I knew right away something was different. For some reason it’s a lot rougher now. It reminds me more of a toilet paper you would find in a hospital. I don’t know what they changed but I don’t like the change. I hate when you start buying a product because it’s a decent product then they go and change something about it. Probably something that made it cheaper to make but the price isn’t any cheaper. It’s still decent paper but it’s a lot rougher.

I guess if you need to buy septic safe special toilet paper then this may be a great choice. I was somewhere where that kind of paper was needed and this is by far the most absorbent one that I used. It has been a while, but I think it was a bit softer too. Not sure of the value for that type of paper. However, if you are a regular TP user move on or stick with your usual. Since Northern changed their paper sometime back I became a Charmin Soft & Strong user. It has descent softness with strength, which after testing these two out turned out to be a better value and as a frequent peer did not leave any chaffing. The first few times I used the Amazon Basics TP I was not pleased, I had a wet hand, even after compensating for the thinness of this paper. Not to mention each square is smaller in length and width. I literally had to use at least twice as much or more, if I didn't want to be cautious about how I stacked the paper for absorption and hand coverage. I noticed awhile back that a lot of TPs are shrinking their square sizes, but Amazon Basics was particularly stingy. Trust me, this is not a value over a good regular TP. I cannot use 2 of these rolls consecutively, because it causes chaffing. So, if I don't want to give my guests sandpaper I have to use this Amazon TP every other roll just to get rid of it. No, I would not recommend to people who do not need this quick dissolving septic safe TP. Yes, I would recommend to those who must purchase that type.

We've become used to buying this toilet paper instead of other brands. This entire package usually lasts about a month, it's a lot softer than the brand "scott" which I utterly dislike. This paper is not as strong and soft as "charmin" but it's very good still. Again, not as thin and "dry" as the brand "scott".
