Received my Endoscope today and all was as expected.Took less than 5 minutes to get it feeding an image to an iPhone. This included downloading the Scope Software to my Phone. The first task was to look inside the cylinder head of a 2 stroke engine on a blower / vac that had seized up but then started running again after it had cooled down. Removing the just the muffler and looking in thru the exhaust was inconclusive. It was suspected that the damage had already been done but since it would still run, without a tear down or a better look inside, there was no sure way to tell. The scope was just a little to big to go into the spark plug hole yet this is a very small plug.On another engine with a slightly larger spark plug, it fit inside just fine. The video worked well and was able to capture a still image showing the melted aluminum splatter on top of the piston and along the lower sidewalls. In under 2 minutes it was confirmed that although the unit may still run, it is permanently damaged and should be repaired or replaced. The key is that in a very short time removing only the spark plug and using the scope, we confirmed what would have taken no less than 10-20 minutes to tear it down just to see / confirm the internal damage. This saves time and expense.I played with the 3 accessories just a little.1) The hook has potential yet it will take some time and practice to get your bearings to which way is up to hook something. Also depending on the path you have taken and how far in you are, twisting or making a turn to snag your object could be a challenge.2) The magnet also could work out and may likely be less challenging to master than the hook as long as you do not have a lot of other metal that it wants to grab on to.3) The mirror, well unless I just got a bad one, it the reason this did not get 5 stars. There is no clarity so you see very little if anything when it is attached. If it worked, it would be great as getting a side view as you drop into an opening would be great as you can not really turn the camera around. The Scope Software on the iPhone is pretty bear bones. You see a nice live image, you can record, and you can capture a still image.Video & Still images are saved within the Application and also in the iPhone OS under your Camera / Photos. From the OS Camera / Photos App you can send them to others like any other video / image. It is a .AVI format so that can be a challenge for some.If you delete the video / image from your Camera / Photos App, it is still in the Scope Software. Yet so far see no way to send it to other from the Scope Software or how to "re-export" it out of the software into your OS Camera / Photos App.For the price it is a nice addition to the arsenal that I see a number of possible future uses for.

Could not be happier with the results and the money saved for my project. Although it has many future possibilities and uses, I used it under a tight crawl space area from an add-on that was done when I bought the house. They added on a home theater and huge master bath over the original garage concrete pad, then added on a new 2 car garage. There was only about 8" between the old garage concrete under the house to the bottom of the floor joists - which makes it impossible for crawl space access from new garage under the master bath to original house foundation. Used the camera when I cut a hole at the bottom of the garage wall to run conduit from garage to the other side of the house (about 14 feet). I was running the conduit for a 100 amp sub panel in the garage. Inserted the camera into the conduit a couple inches short of the end, watched the camera to guide the conduit along the joist, over the support beam to the other side of the foundation. Got some reference points off the camera, drilled the exit hole for the conduit (within an inch of accuracy 14 feet away) to push the conduit through. Once that was done I used it to do a little exploring under the house. Discovered some pipes with no insulation and the hot water line was run by an idiot. Camera in conduit worked so well, I ran new expansion PEX using same idea as conduit to guide the lines through. Insulated the PEX in sections as I inserted it in the wall on the hangers at the joist and over the support beam. Now I have insulated water lines, run straight along the joist right under the floor insulation and cut out the idiot line. This saved me having to do all this blind - time alone was worth the $40. Thought I was going to be stuck without the ability to remodel upgrade garage, water lines, well pump, etc. without having to rip up tile bathroom floor, plywood and insulation. Or the cost it would take to higher a special ordered professional Oompa-Loompa plumbing contractor who could craw around in that tight space. This was a huge benefit with endless future possibilities. I did order the 10M length which was excessive but I figured it might come in handy at some point and short versions .... don't stretch. Downside - I did find that in 10 foot sections of conduit it is not quite rigid enough to feed it much further as the cord starts to coil inside the pipe not sliding so easily. At the longer lengths - it is just "soft" enough in the flex that it is a little difficult to control or do fine adjustments. Not complaining as this saved me lots of time and money. Would be nicer if it was a little stiffer but very good for its intent. I do think that the 10M length is rigid enough to snake down a pipe from a top floor or roof - but as far a pushing it up or along 10M - ? Don't think it will do that without binding up in the pipes - I was struggling a little past the 12 foot mark. Extremely happy with my results and uses - wish I had it years ago.

Very very pleased. Flexible but not limp. The camera is quite good. Although there are a lot of options, it is basically turn on and use. The light is smoothly adjustable from barely on to quite bright. The software is easy to find. They have even included a code to scan which will take you right to it. The software of course is free, not big so it downloads quickly. The manual is well written (not a google translation). The connection to the software is straight ahead. Turning on the unit gives you visual feedback that it's on and that you are transmitting a wifi signal. Password is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. You're live. Used it with my iPhone 6s and my iPad Pro. Looks great. They also include the hook, the right angle mirror, and the magnet. Screw off the head piece over the lamp and screw on the attachment of choice.

You can take snapshots and even video. You have different resolutions to choose from and you can even select mirror image and that came in handy when I tried to move a tool to the left or right and it went opposite on my display.

2 things of really minor concern: 1. battery doesn't last too too long. Maybe an hour or a little more. Especially with the light bright. I just hooked it up to AC when I ran out of juice and it worked great. And 2. The magnet when attached blocks the camera. You get a little peripheral vision and that helped. I dropped screws in a basically inaccessible spot behind the dash of my car while working on it. I could either see them or retrieve them. So I used another magnet on a long spring that I own along with the camera. That worked. But if you're in an enclosed space like a pipe I can see that the magnet attachment would be very handy for metal retrieval.

Enjoy.
