I am a frequent user of supplements during the winter to help keep me healthy. Since I have asthma the last thing i want is a cold. Elderberry is reputed to help keep people healthy so I figured I would give Sambucus Black Elderberry Gummies a shot.
120 gummies come in the package. Serving size is 2 gummies so you will get two months worth of the product assuming you don't snack on them like candy! The gummies also contain a full RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) of Vitamin C and nearly three quarters RDA of Zinc. (Side Note: Zinc is included in other products like Airborne and is believed to help with recovery from illness. Also note this is not health advice as I am just a consumer who likes to read, not a medical professional.)
Value is good, as the current price is $9.99 on Amazon. The product is also listed as vegan for those who follow that particular dietary guideline. The flavor is a tasty berry but the product is not sugar free. I tend not to worry about sugar free vs. items containing sugar. If it tastes good, I will buy it and stick to the serving size. The gummies and fairly easy to chew, but I'm not sure if they qualify as 5-stars for ease of swallowing. It's subjective, but they weren't difficult to swallow.
