    Camera was great at first
    Camera was great at first, however, on the 11 month before the warranty would end the Samsung camera started to act up. The camera was acting like it was possessed. It was moving on it's own. I sent it over to Samsung to get it fix and supposedly the camera was fix. However, a month later the camera started to have connection issues to my router. Works about a few days until I have to reset it again. My camera is out of warranty and it will cost to much to get it fix. It's best for me to just buy a different brand of camera.

    This is our fourth Samsung SmartCam. Our first two were the SNH-1011 cameras. I have had them for a couple of years. Set up was easy and they have functioned perfectly. I have been using these two cameras to check in on my 85-year-old mother who lives with us to make sure she is OK. I use the SmartCam app on my iPhone. Subsequently, I bought a Smartcam SNHP6410BN for my Toddler grandson's bedroom so we can enjoy seeing him even though we are many miles away. That camera has also worked flawlessly. If there is a weakness, it is the two-way communication. The audio is fine; however, the talking feature is not that easy to understand on the other end.

    Just purchased the SNH-V6410PN and have used it for a few days. It was easy to set up, and I love how it is able to provide a 360° view. The picture quality is very good and the ability to move the camera horizontally and up-and-down work just fine. I also like it that you are able to zoom the camera in and out. Camera makes no noise as it rotates. I have nothing negative to say about the camera at this point.

    Basically, you have to decide if the ability to rotate the camera remotely is worth the extra money, or does the cheaper stationary camera meet your needs.

    Let me add one more thing that I really like about all of these cameras. You're able to define an area on the screen, and if there is movement in the area you define, it will notify you. I like that for when all of us are away from home. It is a security aspect of the cameras that I like.

    I just received my Samsung HD WI-FI Pan and tilt camera. Just set it up and it works perfect. I have purchased other Samsung Wi-Fi camera's and have never been disappointed. These camera's are easy to use and set up. The quality of the video is great. I use some of these camera's in my home, office and my vacation home. I cannot get cable or fiber optic internet connection in my mountain vacation home but I can use my Mi-Fi 4g with these camera's and they work great. The best part is they only use Data when I log onto the camera's. These use very little Data. I will be purchasing more of these. I've used other non Samsung Wi-Fi camera's in the past and none performed as well.

    So far I'm enjoying this camera. Its a lot smaller than I expected and does not stick out too much.

    I did not plan to use the motion tracking but it works rather well as long as there is enough light. So far this is working out much better than some cheaper pan/tilt cameras I've used.

    Only complaint so far is the Samsung app - it disconnects from time to time and does not seem to have a means to automatically re-connect, so you have to acknowledge the disconnect, then reconnect - wish it would do this automatically.

    2017.04.26 - UPDATE: I wish I had not bought into the Samsung Smartcam line of cameras - the hardware is fine but the web interface and app are extremely frustrating.

    Android App: it loses connection a lot (no big deal in itself), but every time it does, it gives you a "lost connection" notice you have to click, followed by a LONG pause as it reloads the main screen, then you have to select the camera again to view the feed. Why in the world can't it just attempt re-connection itself without use input? Other camera apps do not have a problem with this. Also, if you go to another app and return to the SmartCam app its the same drill: long pause, disconnect error, long pause, select the camera again - why can't it just reload the video feed?

    Web Interface: not compatible with newer (like, in last couple years) Chrome browsers, so I have to use IE (fate worse than death), and IE will not remember the password, which I have to enter each time.

    I would stay away from the SmartCam line for these reasons - its 2017, how bout a little UI attention? - these problems are known and reported.

    Having owed the SNH-1011 for a couple years, and loving the product. But always wishing that I could move the camera to see in the blind spot. I thought this would be the best possible option. Especially after seeing other competitors products and not hearing good things about those.

    I purchased the SNH-V6410PN. I love the look of the camera. The packaging was top notch. Being familiar with the Smartcam app setup took just minutes, but even if ur not familiar with the app the setup is very easy and the instructions are very comprehensive and well illustrated. Mounting the camera was a breeze with the included template.

    After the setup I started playing around with all the different options, and there are many. I love how I could setup different preset positions and zones for motion detection. There are 3 preset positions along with a home position, that the user is able to setup them selfs, plus a privacy position, ( I LOVE that feature) always wishing I could have a privacy option with the SNH-1011 but not having it. I would either unplug the camera or cover the lense with paper. Lol

    You can even setup a automatic schedule for the camera to start or stop recording, or go to the privacy mode. The picture is 1080p and crystal clear. The motion is smooth and just about a 360 degree view. While in the app there are three ways of moving the camera either by a 4 way directional pad on screen or just by dragging you finger across the screen from left to right or up to down also by pressing on the preset positions. There's up to a 4x zoom option by a pinching motion on the screen. The night vision is extremely bright, and a good upgrade from the SNH-1011. Along with manual movement of the camera there's a auto track feature. When turned on the camera will automatically pan and tilt to follow a target around the room.

    The two way talk feature works great, also U are able to either record ur own messages for play back with the push of the button or play 3 prerecorded sounds. A police siren, a dog barking, or a sound like a car alarm. The sound quality is very good and can go really loud. Also the mic seems to be sensitive and clear. Along with the motion detection ur able to have a audio detection that will trigger recording when turned on, and u can adjust the sensitivity for different noise volumes to trigger the recording. While watching live feed ur able to take a snapshot of what ur seeing or manually start and stop recording at anytime. The playback is at 1080p also crystal clear. U can have footage saved on ur phone or directly to the optional sd card, which I recommend getting, because unlike the SNH-1011 were ur able to record footage to google drive the SNH-V6410PN is lacking that option. That would be one thing I would hope that Samsung would change in the future. Another option I always wanted was to be able to have the date and time displayed on the recording or on live view and with the
    SNH-V6410PN u have that option, which can be turned on or off.

    I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking to have peice of mind and be able to see what's going on at ur house or business while ur away. Also it's great to be able to keep an eye on the kids or pets and even talk to them while ur not at home. The SNH-V6410PN is a GREAT addition to my home security and it give a wide range of options to help keep ur home and family safe. I LOVE IT!!

    I gave it a 4.5 out of five stars because I wanted to be able to record to google drive as with the SNH-1011.

    Es la segunda cámara de vigilancia Samsung que tengo. Se configura rápido, puedes seleccionar zonas de seguridad y es confiable. La aplicación también funciona bien en iPhone. Excelente cámara.
