I bought this to replace its older version. It lasted 7-9 years. The new one is essentially the same, but the method of dumping was changed. The new method is less convenient. It has a rear dump feature. Previously with separating the halves it was simple to direct where the contents fell. The contents now can hit the door as they fall. The new version has both a screen and a filter. Fine dust can quite easily clog it. Cleaning it is messy. On the whole it's a great product. I use it daily. The motor is not so loud as to frighten my cat. The current version has moderately greater suction power than did the old.

I do woodworking and purchased the Dustbuster for my wood shop. So far I am loving it. Normally I have dust collection apparatuses attached to the tool to clean up sawdust as it's made but nothing catches all of it - there's always some leftover. The Dustbuster is there to get the sawdust from tools that do not have dust extraction attached to them such as hand tools and the like. It works great. Its very powerful and has a large capacity as well. The extendable neck is convenient as a crevace tool and it's built right into the vacuum. Over all I cannot speak highly enough about this vacuum. I think B&D really hit the ball out of the park on this one!

The extendable crevice tool is very handy at reaching the far corners of the pen & the suction is great. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the litter pieces tend to get caught in the permanent filter, making it difficult to clean. I must use a brush & scour hard to remove them & unclog the holes. A small price to pay, however, for the efficiency in keeping things clean.

I bought this to replace another Black and Decker hand vac that was five years old, and would no longer hold a charge. I liked the old vac and thought we more than got our money’s worth out of it so I was looking for another B & D vac to replace it.

This one has a lower voltage battery than the old one, but it has more suction and runs longer. The old one had a charging stand pad, but this one just sits upright on a shelf or counter and the charging cord plugs directly into it. This also has a larger dust bin and is easier to empty.

I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Powerful suction, easy to empty out; however, either out cheapness to "economize" on buttons or purely bad design it has an annoyingly loud feature. Every time it's turned off - the same on/off button also gives it a power boost whether needed or not. Couldn't B&D have instead a two-position switch so the user could decide whether a suction boost is needed? That's no different than a car maker designing a car that when the driver turns the ignition key to the off position it makes the engine rev up first. Dumb.

This Dustbuster is amazing for the price I paid. We use it daily. It is lightweight. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a long time. The suction is great. Make sure when you empty the canister you remove the filter and take that apart to clear. You can easily wash that under the sink and wipe down the canister. I bought another one for the laundry room to clean up the lint from the socks and dirt that falls from the kids clothes and socks. Highly recommend.

I love this dustbuster vac. I struggled for years with one that had a different design that was so difficult to empty the cannister and reattach it. This one couldn't be easier-press one button to open and dump. The dual filters inside are also very easy to remove, clean, and reinsert when necessary. It's got great suction and is super easy to charge-just plug it in. There are no bases for it to sit in and no battery to remove and reinstall to charge. It's also not too heavy.

Es una buena aspiradora, tiene una potencia bastante aceptable.
En único defecto que le veo es que la duración de la batería es corta, a lo mucho unos 10 minutos de uso continuo.
Me gusta mucho que tiene indicador de carga de batería, la batería tarda en cargar aprox. unas 2 horas, tal vez un poco menos.
También tiene niveles de potencia que se pueden regular, solo hay que tener cuidado con no presionar el botón para cambiar de velocidad.

Great little vacuum cleaner for small spills and tight spaces. Especially like the extendable crevice tool and easy to empty collection container. The battery will go down fairly quickly with long use or using the turbo feature.
