I wanted a small blow dryer that could fit my diffuser since the blow dryers that come from hotels don’t fit the diffuser and I have curly hair and didn’t like bringing my regular sized blow dryer that took up too much space and I’m so happy this one fits!This is very good and I first tested this at home with my just washed hair and it probably took 15 minutes to get 70% dry so I would recommend if you have curly hair to only use this for touch ups but you can use on damp hair if you have time to spare . Also only downside is if you have long curly hair if you flip your hair to down to dry it, your long hair may get sucked up at the other end so I just have to be very careful.I’ve taken this on two trips already in the span of 3 weeks apart and it has worked out great so far!

I purchased 3 travel hairdryers and compared to 3 that I owned and/or borrowed. My biggest complaint with compact 2-speed hairdryers is that the high speed is the right amount of hot, but blows my fine hair around like a hurricane, but then the low speed is barely warm which extends drying time and doesn't set waves as well. The BabyBliss Pro was the clear winner with plenty of power at high, but also the closest to the same amount of heat on low. As a bonus, I was surprised with how shiny and smooth my hair was after drying (my hair has some frizzy texture that comes with being 60+, plus FL humidity). I guess that's the Tourmaline technology, but I didn't experience the same results with other dryers making the same claim, including two that were full-size. This is such a tiny dryer with a generous 6ft cord (cord when wrapped is larger than the actual dryer but is flexible and easy to pack). Incidentally, the Conair miniPro was a pretty close 2nd for about half the price, however the heat on low was not hot enough for me and the cord was a foot shorter. I landed on the BabyBliss Pro because I decided it's worth more to have a hairdryer that was maximally efficient and made me feel beautiful when I'm traveling. I'm finding I like using it at home as well because it's lighter and has a longer cord than my full-size. I'm heading to Europe in the fall, so looking forward to testing when switched to the other voltage level. I'll try to update this review when I return.

I love this dryer! I bought the first one in 2015 for a trip to Europe...then continued to use it at home. I bought the second one just to keep in my travel for work, suitcase. The first one died after about 3 years of constant use si I started using the back up every day...it died in 22. We are now retired and full time traveling in a motor home weight and size are important! Its lite weight but powerful, and it gets plenty hot! I have short hair but have had longer hair and used this dryer, but I think it's probably best suited for medium or short length, fine or coarse hair. Perfect for travel or everyday use.

I find it to be on par with just about every other small/run-of-the-mill hotel hairdryer. I have long, untreated hair. Perhaps this would be adequate for short hair or hair that dries quickly.
