Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Customers like the performance of the computer processor. They say it's fast, stable, and has no issues with CPU bottlenecks. Some mention that it makes Lightroom so fast that it cuts their time to sort and process a full card. They also say it runs great without any issues and compiles large applications 8-10x faster.
"...weird "efficiency" cores and uneven performance curves, a 7950X delivers consistent, constant, gargantuan throughput across all 32 threads...." Read more
"Mine arrived working well without any difficulties or delays and a performance benchmark shows its performing perfectly compared to how it should be." Read more
"...This processor performs phenomenally and makes me glad I switched back. These do run hot, so make sure you get a good cooler...." Read more
"...I've used this playing at 1080p-2160p. Top to bottom no issues...." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the quality of the computer processor. They mention that it is a good CPU for productivity, very powerful, and incredible. Some say that the machine is mind-blowing and has an amazing amount of computational power for a home computer.

"...This is just an amazing amount of computational power for a home computer...." Read more
"What can I tell you, it's a good cpu for productivity, but it doesn't win against Intel in neither productivity, nor gaming...." Read more
"...Awesome setup, still get the portability I'm used to along with a blazing fast CPU. Very happy!" Read more
Customers are satisfied with the stability of the computer processor. They mention that it is solid, fast, and delivers consistent, gargantuan throughput.

"Works great! The one I received works great at 6000 dram timing. Fully stable so far after a few weeks." Read more
"Easy to install. No more pins that can bend. Stable, solid, and fast running on Linux Mint and previously Windows 11." Read more
Customers have mixed opinions about the temperature of the computer processor. Some mention that it runs fairly cool until they put a load on it, then boosts to 95C. Others say that it draws less power and is easy to cool down. Some customers also mention that the processor gets hot but doesn't throttle or crash. However, some customers also say that the product does not come with a heatsink.
"...Paired with a 4080, this is a dream to use. Get's hot but doesn't throttle or crash and I caN use sleep mode again." Read more
"...These do run hot, so make sure you get a good cooler. I chose the Liquid Freezer II and it does an excellent job when paired with this CPU." Read more
"...I paired this CPU with the 420mm variant, and I was very satisfied with the temperatures at idle being between 48-56c...." Read more
"...my 13900k, yes...about 10-15 degrees hotter in same tasks, and runs pretty darn hot while using Win 11 normally...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the value of the computer processor. Some mention that it's amazing and worth every penny, while others say that the value is average for the type. The install is straightforward. The 38K benchmark is well worth it, and it can do it all.
"Not sure what else to say, the value is average for the type, install is as straightforward as it was designed...." Read more
"...it is an absolute monster in those sorts of tasks, but it does come at a premium...." Read more
"...correctly mounted cooler and plenty of thermal paste it’s 38K benchmark is well worth it! Incredible processor" Read more

I've done everything from gaming under Proton/WINE, language model merging/inference/quantization, and software development on this system in the 3 months I've had it. The 7950X has never stopped impressing me with how *incredibly* potent it is. There are workloads I used to rent AWS compute instances (at almost $2/hr!) to run, and I can take care of them in minutes on my home machine now. And gaming? Pfft! ZERO problems. Turn everything up to Ultra. I'm not going to have to think about CPU power for another 5 or 6 years, easy.
I was an AMD fanboy going back to the AMD 386-20, and I've owned more AMD CPUs than Intel over the decades. But the last time I owned an AMD CPU was in the mid-2000s, an Athlon FX-57 (the last, fastest, single-core Athlon 64). Ever since then, I've been waiting for AMD to ship a "good" architecture. That finally came with Zen 3, but by the time I was ready to buy... Zen 4 was here. And BOY AM I GLAD IT IS.
Long story short: if you're even *thinking* about buying the best of the consumer Zen 4 CPUs, you found it.
BTW, this is the better of them, between this one and the "3D" one, for applications that are going to stress all the cores simultaneously. The way the 3D thing works looks a little bit faster on benchmarks, but when you are really putting the thing to the test, you'll be glad you went with the real thing.
It's great when you have software that lets you choose to encode/simulate on the CPU and set how many cores to use. Give 8c/16th and play games without issue. I've kept up with bios updates so I haven't had issues with the overvolting EXPO stuff that was in the news. I use a Thermaltake Peerless Assassin to cool it and that's been adequate even when playing at stock voltages where it hits those 95 celcius temps. You can undervolt this thing, drop the clocks a bit and the performance difference is negligible.
If you're a software developer, you'll enjoy the amount of cores for running VMs, docker containers, compiling software, etc. I like photography so enjoy playing with RAW photos in Darktable and mild things in Krita. Going from a 4770k to this was a pretty massive change.
I feel like people buying CPUs seperate probably know what to expect. I was able to run a 4770k for 8 years. I don't want to run this for 8 years but I wouldn't be surprised if the performance in games at 2160p is so minor that I just keep going on with this and occasionally upgrading the graphics card
N use sleep mode again.

forget the 240 AIO go 360 or Full Water custom
this thing threads all that i throw at it ... and thanks to the 16 Cores i can use it for Adobe aswell
