I purchased the 4Moms MamaRoo but found it error prone and overengineered so I returned it and purchased this. On the other hand, this product is excellent. This swing is much quieter, provides smoother motions that are more likely to calm your baby, and is still usually cheaper than the MamaRoo. The seat also turns (very convenient) and has excellent recline adjustments. While any baby product is subject up to a child's preferences, we find that our baby can chill out in this for anywhere from 20-40 minutes, depending on which enrichment is used to keep her entertained.
The seat is comfortable, soft, and supportive. We did end up using it with the newborn insert that we had already purchased for the MamaRoo. This worked well for when it seemed like our baby was a bit too small for the chair. It was probably fine but we added it just in case.
My only complaint with this machine is that the sounds only play for a specified number of minutes instead of looping. This is a small issue as we rarely use the sounds anyways but we are fond of the bubble and water sounds. I highly recommend this device for those wondering whether to shell out for the MamaRoo.

With my first son I had a grace soothe my way it was a detachable rocker(which I didn’t really care for other than the fact I could use it as a detachable seat) and the base that did just about all the same motions as this, so for me this is a win✅ design is so much more sleek and compact compared to the swing I had in the past. 💯 worth the money.
