The 2024 Summer Olympics are just over a month away. The international mega sporting event begins in Paris, France on July 26 with Samsung as one of its biggest global sponsors. In anticipation of the games where the world’s top athletes go for gold, the company has introduced special-edition accessories for Galaxy smartphones. We have new cases, pouches, and more accessories, all designed with Paris 2024 Olympic colors.
Samsung launches Olympic-themed Galaxy accessories ahead of Paris 2024
Samsung has made more than 50 Olympic-themed accessories for several 2023 and 2024 Galaxy smartphones. There are shock-absorbing cases with a rigid back and soft edges, silicone cases, non-slip resin with self-healing properties, and other cases with unique Paris 2024 Olympic designs. There is also a waterproof pouch and a shoulder strap for phones, so you can carry it to stadiums when watching the games in the rain.
According to the company, these special-edition protective cases and other accessories are available for the Galaxy A05s, Galaxy A15 (4G and 5G models), Galaxy A25 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Additionally, Samsung has made a 10,000mAh power bank featuring Phryge, the official mascot of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Samsung says these accessories are designed, processed, and packaged in France. They will be available for purchase from the company’s official website in the country. Some are already available, while others will go on sale soon. The Korean firm may also sell the accessories in its physical stores across France, or at least in Paris. “To celebrate Samsung’s existing global partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Samsung Electronics France has imagined and designed a dedicated range of smartphone accessories in the Paris 2024 colors,” the company said in a press release. “These accessories display a sleek and modern style in reference to Art Deco while protecting Galaxy smartphones against small everyday accidents.”
Samsung is also bringing its next Unpacked to Paris
With sports enthusiasts expected to throng Paris in July and August, Samsung has an opportunity to promote its Galaxy products to a global crowd. The company is capturing this opportunity with both hands. It is bringing its next Unpacked to the capital city of France. The event is rumored to take place on July 10.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are likely to break cover at the event. The Galaxy Ring, which Samsung has been teasing since January, may also finally launch at the upcoming Unpacked. Most of these products will go on sale around the same time the games begin.
