Peacock has brought back its pretty popular Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal. Where you can sign up and get Peacock Premium (that’s still ad-supported) for just $0.99 per month for your first year.
Keep in mind that Peacock will renew at $4.99 per month after the 12 months are up. So if you don’t want to keep it after that time, it’s a good idea to set a reminder to cancel.
At $12 for a full year of Peacock, this is a pretty good deal. Peacock has three plans available. There’s Peacock, Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus. The naming is a bit misleading as the “premium” plan does still have ads, but gives you access to all of its content. Premium Plus is ad-free and gives you access to everything, normally, $9.99 per month.
Peacock is the streaming service from NBCUniversal. So most content from NBCUniversal is available here. There are some exceptions, due to Comcast’s deal with Hulu (which they are part owner of) among a few other streaming services. Like the Fast and Furious movies being on HBO MAX right now.
There’s a ton of great content available on Peacock right now. That includes the entire Harry Potter series. As well as The George Lopez Show, Two and a Half Men and many other favorites. The Office is also available, which is why it was taken off of Netflix.
This streaming service may not have all of the big names that something like HBO MAX or Netflix have, but it is also a fraction of the price. Especially now with this Black Friday deal. So if you’ve been on the fence about checking out Peacock, then now is definitely the time to sign up.
