Much like the Galaxy Watch 6, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comes in different colors. Because how boring would it be if there was absolutely no variety at all? That being said, your choices are fairly limited as you only get two colors to pick from with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The same as last year with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Although the colors themselves are not the same.
With the Classic this year, Samsung will offer the watch in Silver and Black color options. Just two choices that will fit across a broad spectrum of wrists. The good news is that Silver and Black will be available in both the 43mm and 47mm sizes. Whereas with the Galaxy Watch 6, the Gold is only available in the 40mm size and the Silver is only available in the 44mm size. Both colors should also be available wherever Samsung will sell the watch. Whether that’s directly through the Samsung website or Samsung’s retail partners like Best Buy and elsewhere.
Spice up your Galaxy Watch 6 Classic colors with bands
If you’re someone who likes to customize, then a collection of bands is going to be your saving grace with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Since there’s no fun colors for the watch cases, bands will be the way you need to add that little bit of extra flair.
Luckily, Samsung has a decent variety of bands to choose from and you aren’t just limited to bands from Samsung. A wide selection of third-party brands will be offering bands and straps that will fit the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. And this opens up the door for a lot of customization in terms of how you wear the watch.
Why does Samsung only offer two colors?
We can only speculate here, but it seems reasonable that Samsung may just be going with colors that appeal to the widest range of people. Silver and Black are pretty common colors for watches and even more so for smartwatches. Making these a safe bet for release. Of course Samsung hasn’t officially stated any reasoning for going with two colors only. Especially when it offers the non-Classic model in more than two options.
