No one succeeds alone.
Boys & Girls Clubs are kids’ first network — the place where they meet mentors, hone their skills, ignite their interests and connect to opportunities.
Clubs prepare youth of all ages with essential skills that today’s schools and employers want, including effective communication, social interaction and navigating challenges.

Many paths lead to great futures. Clubs help young people find and fulfill theirs. Whether it’s trade school, college, military enrollment or straight to a career, Club teens are ready to succeed in work and life.
A Boys & Girls Club field trip sparked an interest in aviation in Jill that she, her mom and the Club have since fueled. Now, the 17-year-old has earned her student pilot’s license before her driver’s license and is planning for a future in aeronautical engineering – clearing the runway for more aviators who look like her.
From budgeting to scholarships, Boys & Girls Clubs gave Mohammad A. the tools to pursue his dream of graduating college debt-free on his way to becoming a dentist.
Beyond academics: This Boys & Girls Club prepares today’s teens for the practical, emotional and social realities of adulthood. Welcome to Adulting 101.
Life & Workforce Readiness Programs
Youth develop financial literacy skills, including saving, budgeting and practical skills for lifelong financial stability.
Career exploration for youth assesses skills and interests, explores career possibilities and prepares to join the nation’s workforce.
Students prepare for post-secondary education, including mentorship and guidance, goal setting and securing financial aid.
Preparing Teens for Careers
Teens joining a Boys & Girls Club become part of a broad network of empowering mentors and coaches, alumni in desirable careers and community partners seeking future employees. They’ll develop the skills, knowledge and mindset they need to excel in the professional world.
The world of work is changing, with employees no longer staying at one company (or even in one industry) throughout their careers. Clubs equip teens with the resiliency to successfully navigate career changes and the growth mindset necessary to learn new skills.
