Job Purpose
- Ensure smooth execution of multiple cell-based and biochemical assays while upholding the highest quality and data integrity standards and meeting timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist research scientists in planning and executing molecular and/or cellular lab experiments, and interpreting results.
- Perform cell-based assays like Luminescence, Fluorescence, FRET, Radio assays, etc.
- Adhere to environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements in the workplace to ensure personal and lab safety.
- Participate in EHS training provided by the company.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related field.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture.
- Experience in biochemical assays.
- Proficient in TR-FRET, HTRF, Fluorescence Intensity, Alpha Screen, Radioactive assays, and Luminescence-based assays.
- Experience in ELISA and Luminex-based assays for cytokine estimations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with human primary cells and tissue samples.
- Knowledge of Flow Cytometry and immune-phenotyping is desirable.
- Experience in RT-PCR and Western blotting is desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical tools like GraphPad Prism and Excel-fit.
- Willingness to work in cross-functional teams across technical domains.
- Excellent pipetting skills, with experience in automated liquid handling systems as an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of assay quality control (QC) parameters.
Experience: 1 – 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Behavioral Skills: Strong oral, written, and presentation skills for effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
