We chose The New Mall Guesthouse for the nights in Maun at the beginning and end of our holiday and inbetween safaris. We had already stayed here in 2019 and liked the location: it is very short distance to the airport (7-8 min walking), to some shops and banks. The guesthouse is simple but clean. The staff is very friendly. This time, the receptionist was particularly helpful when we had some trouble with our flight booking. We could leave part of our luggage at the guesthouse for some periods and it was always safely returned to us. We would definitely stay again if we are back in Maun.

A minutes away from city center, grocery stores, banks, bus terminal and KFC. Not far from the airport. Very helpful staff. They offered luggage storage while I was on a Safari tour, and let me stay in the lobby while waiting for a late night bus. The buildings incorporates many traditional local elements, but still provides decent contemporary comfort to guests. There's a bar and campfire at night, and the breakfast buffet is decent. Also, the breakfast buffet starts early at 6am, convenient for guests heading out for Safari in the early morning. Highly recommended!
