Air Rooms Rome Airport by HelloSky is set inside Fiumicino Airport, and is connected to the terminals via a covered overpass. Outstanding location and exceptional cleanliness. Although my stay was brief—only four hours—I was impressed with the quality of the internet, the cleanliness of the space, and the convenience of the location. While the cost is on the high side, more in line with a 2-3 night beachfront stay in a luxury apartment than a 4-hour layover, it is clear that, without any competition, the facility remains the only viable option for guests arriving on late flights and departing early.

Hilton Rome Airport has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Fiumicino. This 4-star hotel offers an ATM and a concierge service. I booked the hotel to leverage its location just within the airport, where I had to take a connection flight early in the morning. The bet paid off. We enjoyed our short stay. The hotel offers several amenities, and we began the following day with a great breakfast followed by a no-brainer check-out process.

Boasting a wellness centre and a gym, the 5-star QC Termeroma Spa and Resort is located in the Oasi di Porto natural park, just and 3.5 km from Rome Fiumicino Airport and 5 km from the beach. The breakfast was fantastic - we were travelling as a family group (ages 14 to 83) and everyone found something to eat that they loved.....and the coffee was superb!
