The apartment was really sweet and equipped with everything you needed - the coffee machine was a bonus as was having a tv with Netflix as it was raining in the evenings when we stayed. The intimate terraces were lovely spaces in which to relax.

Fabulous big room with good air conditioning, a large kitchen and nice bathroom. The pool was super nice after days out exploring and we were really grateful for the free tanks of drinking water provided. It’s about a 10-15min walk into the centre, but we liked the walk and found great restaurants (plus the supermarket) very close to the property. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely food, shopping options, beautiful beaches. Easy to drive around the island. Lots of vegan and vegetarian food available. Very friendly people and very safe to walk about Sat or night. No pressure to buy from street and shop vendors. Highly recommend trying ilote and marquesitas from street vendors.

I wasn't planning to go to Cozumel it was a last minute...
I wasn't planning to go to Cozumel it was a last minute trip over the MLK longer weekend. The Hotel B Unique was the perfect place for us. It was within walking distance to town (2 miles) and we stopped and had a fresh pineapple smoothie along the way $5 american dollars. We always felt safe and dinners/drinks were very inexpensive. The dollar was accepted almost everywhere. The airport was so easy. It was a nice reprieve from the cold in the states! We wanted local food but since it was Saturday places were booked. We ended up at Guido's Italian Restaurant (they do not take reservations) it was fantastic! We had garlic bread, two seafood pastas entrees, one dessert, and 3 cocktails for $96.00

I loved the restaurants that are not on the main road. Try going on 10 Avenida, 20 Avenida, or 25 Avenida. There are wonderful little places that beat the overpriced ones on the main road. La Estrella (say hello to Braulio…he wants to practise his English while serving the best ceviche dish), Las Flamitas, La Chola, La Mission were our favourites. I loved the fact you can walk around and feel safe. Yes, there are a lot of souvenir stores and people hawking their wares, but it is their way of making a living. Every day was a different walking adventure. I think we covered most of the streets from our hotel to the airport, just by walking. Want a catamaran ride? Go with Fury. They take you snorkelling near the reefs, swimming near a sand bar, lunch on a beach to watch the sunset. Go see Wilbert at the Mega to reserve.

I love Cozumel.
I love Cozumel. We've done almost everything there is to do in Cozumel. Favorite spots include Punta Sur, Passion Island, and El Cielo. Favorite places to eat include the 10 Experiences, Buccanos, El Palomar, Guidos, Los Tacotales, El Mirador, Coconuts, and Mezcalito's. Also, be sure to buy a Marquesita from one of the local street carts. So good! Traveling the island is easy, just rent a car or a scooter, or you can easily Taxi everywhere. Fun activities include snorkeling on the West side of the island, basically anywhere, horseback riding with Mr. Boots on the North side of the island, and just driving the whole island, specifically on the West side and hitting all the beach clubs and bars. Lastly, don't do the All Inclusive package, go support the local business, the food is always better not at the resort!

Great value for the money, perfect size resort, staff always available no waiting for ever for drinks. Room clean and comfortable, bathroom fixtures a little dated but perfectly functional. Nice beach area, easy access to water for snorkeling. Ala carte restaurant available for breakfast and dinner, excellent food. Buffet available from 7.00am until 10.00pm good variety of dishes. Nice seating in lobby area for relaxation. Limited activity available if that’s your thing. No evening entertainment or music which suited us.

Cozumel is one of my favourite places in Mexico, especially if you stay out of the resorts. The people are friendly, the local food spots delicious, and the ocean is magical and full of wonders. I would happily live in Cozumel!
