Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. We stayed one night at the farm following a long day and night of travelling from London. It was absolutely perfect. The setting is cosy and the gardens are full of an incredible variety of colourful birds. Listening to their song whilst sipping a beer was delightful. The chalet rooms are basic but super clean and perfectly comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly and cheerful. The lady who cooked our dinner and breakfast is amazing and we enjoyed both meals. Thank you Etango Ranch, we’d love to come again one day.

Wonderful setting, beautiful and quirky accommodation, attention to detail magnificent. And it literally have everything one might need and not need during you stay. Top notch! We could only stay for one night but I would recommend a 2 night stay to experience it properly.

Prior to my arrival, Gerda was kind enough to book a morning outing for me that I was struggling to find information on. Nikki was waiting for me on arrival, check in was simple and easy, and my room was ready and waiting for me. The meals are excellent but remember to save room for dessert - you will not be disappointed! Grounds are lovely and the views from my room were stunning. I had arrived a few days before the rest of my group and couldn’t have picked a more welcoming, relaxing place to recharge and adjust to the time difference. To top it off, on my last morning I was treated to visits by waterbucks and kudos at the waterhole near my room.

Chris and Chrisna were the perfect hosts and so welcoming - they waited for us for dinner even though we arrived at 9pm. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with them with so many laughs and had a fabulous nights sleep. A lovely breakfast was ready for us in the fridge when we woke up - the appartment was extremely private and quiet, with an incredible view. The house is in a gated estate and feels very safe.

The farm was so nice stop to relax after longhaul flight! This place is for those who loves animals! Staff was really kind, and made a lot efforts for us. Room was clean and we had a lot space. Very nice object, surrounded by garden occupied by multiple birds species. I have noticed that everything around me was so clean, not even piece of rubbish seen. Personnel was helpful and friendly, breakfast great. I had a nice time there.
