Located in Lima and with Las Nazarenas Church reachable within 8.9 km, SUMAQ PUNUY HOSTEL - Lima Airport provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a... Really kind staff. Christian (I think his name is) was so warm and welcoming when I arrived. I had just missed a flight, it was the middle of the night, I had walked there in the dark which was a bit scary, and was in a bit of a mess. But his warmth was really appreciated. He came out to meet me on the street which was kind and a relief after an awful journey. Something as a solo traveller it’s those moments that make a massive difference. The next morning, Maria Luisa was so kind to me and walked me to the airport. We spoke in Spanglish and she didn’t mind walking with me even though it was 6am! Thank you both so much. I would highly recommend this place if you have a night where you need to stay near the airport. Homely and warm and clean. Perfect. Just be careful walking around the roundabout on the way there!

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning but the staff waited up for us which was appreciated. When we left she also gave us a pre packed breakfast which was very nice of her.
