Although he lives on-site, he is usually busy with house chores, or on adventures of his own, so he's not there much. During my visit, the house was full of life and had a fairly steady pace of changing travelers every couple days. It was about 8-10 mins from beach and comes equipped with a very sweet house cat. Everything was super clean, and cooking utensils were aplenty. No dishwasher, so be prepared to tidy up after yourself. It is quite a remote location, and requires some effort to get to anything except the little gas station nearby, which was quite handy in a pinch with basic groceries. Also, TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLANT.
