Situated next to a castle building with a spacious garden, Wapnö Gårdshotell is just 15 minutes’ drive from Halmstad. It provides en-suite guest rooms and free WiFi. The location was very nice and spacious. The castle was very well decorated and the night we arrived there was live music being played. The shower was very high quality as well.

Conveniently located in Halmstad’s city centre and set on the Nissan River, the Scandic Hallandia is just 3 km from the Halmstad Airport. Excellent location within walking distance of railway station and a good point for me to start my walking expedition. Close to the centre of the town with plenty of places to eat. Supermarket under half a mile away. Nice paths along the riverside immediately adjacent to hotel. An excellent breakfast with wide choice of different foods served early if needed - from 6am on weekdays and 7am at weekends.
