Place is clean, and close to the airport. Super if you are going to Principe., though a hit of a walk (maybe 45mins) from downtown sao tome.

We enjoyed our last two days in São Tomé at Hotel Praia. We had stayed there already a night prior to our journey to the island of Rolas. It was nice to back in civilization after our Rolas trip. Nice to have everything functioning and working well. Great shower, nice bed, everything clean! The front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodating (especially Mr Helder, who, amongst other things, took care of our taxi requests). The salt-water pool is nice and big. Great to be so close to the airport. The restaurant serves a great free breakfast and dinners were good, too. We would go back there!

Omali is a great hotel near the airport, and a short walk to the popular beach. The on-site restaurant had an amazing buffet breakfast, and I also had lunch and dinner there. The pool was very clean and perfect for a morning swim. The staff had plenty of helpful information and really made the stay.

Ocean View Guesthouse ligger precis vid stranden i São Tomé och har en trädgård. Pensionatet erbjuder både gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!

Casa Luis ligger i São Tomé och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården samt en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The host was very nice, and her nephew Luis was very helpful and available. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will come back.

Monteiro Paradise Guest House erbjuder 4-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i São Tomé och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass. The space it is very peaceful, really good for people looking for rest. The guest house has one of the most beautiful views of the island in which you can see the stunning bay, cabras island, airport (flights coming and leaving the island) and others. The place it is very close to the best and biggest european supermarket in which you feel like you are in Europe as you can get everything from there. There is one restaurant 20 seconds from the front door, the neighbors are very simpatique, the people working and staying in the guest house are the most lovely I've ever met. In the mornings I was always offered by them plenty coconut, papayas, soursops and mangos which were planted in the garden. I was picked up and dropped off from and to the airport at free cost, which was amazing. The owner any time I needed exchanged some euros and pounds, which was the highest rate that I was able to find in the island.
