The hosts of Happy Home are the most welcoming I’ve probably ever met, the space is extremely clean and pretty comfortable. I booked a queen bed room and was very scared of dirt and insects as I had bad experiences in the past, and found a happy rest here! Super clean, pretty quiet despite the sounds of cars on the road. if you need to spend one night close to Suvarnabhumi I definitely recommend coming here. (They even give you earplugs, though I disn’t need to use them)

They've recently installed good walking sidewalks near the Robinson and El Paseo shopping centers which makes the area much much more walkable. The Robinson Lifestyle shopping center is one of the best in Bangkok. The Villa Market in El Paseo is a great Falang supermarket with high quality local products and lots of iimported items.

Real life with local people, Thai culture and hospitality. I loved this neighborhood and all its people. You will be spoiled for authentic restaurants, food stalls and markets, grocery stores, the mall is a great place for clothes shopping. A busy, lively place with many gems to discover.

Close to the airport, suitable for early morning flights. There are several hotels in the area that cater for travelers. These hotel prices are much lower, and better value, than the hotels right next to the airport.

We liked the closeness to the airport and rail link to Bangkok (5 min in Taxi. 50bht) . The local market and shops were good too. Lots of food to choose from. Just a shame there wasn't a local bar with music. The room we had was tired with hard mattresses and tiny bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the transfer transport very good. The restaurant menu was extensive and the food good.

You can walk one mile to the train station and head to anywhere in Bangkok so you aren't stuck in one place. The Robinson mall has an amazing food court for cheap! Highly recommend that authentic Thai food. There is also a quaint night market but not much is there.

The fine establishment has stellar accommodation choices ranging from affordable tents (with electricity etc.) to AC-rooms. The place also has a good restaurant, a swimming pool, laundry and many other nice things close-by. Bang Wa station is close by and Siam university. Additionally, the place is constantly renewing itself so new things will be added.

We booked this hotel primarly because of its location - walking distance to all main spots, temples, river, and also to Khaosan road, I think this is best area to stay when visiting BKK (we are not fans of siam area, skyscrapers and modern buildings). Staff is polite and welcoming, especially one receptionist (sorry I can't remember his name but he was the most welcoming receptionist during our Thailand trip). You can also leave luggage with them without any problem.

New Siam II is my favorite Hotel in the old town,I stay there every time I travel in Thailand and stop in BKK for 1-2 days. Good value,nice and clean rooms and very helpful staff. Highly recommend to stay away from the chaotic Sukhumvit area.
