This is a great place to base out of for visits to Coimbra or even Porto. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Hosts were very helpful in finding restaurants for dinner.

The highlight of our stay was the lovely outside terrace, offering a peaceful and private space to enjoy the fresh air and a beautiful view of the surroundings. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the terrace added a special touch to our visit. Overall, it was a perfect base for our short stay in Coimbra.

It was a wonderful surprise. A beautiful spot in the middle of the nature. The apartment was perfectly clean and warming. The hotel has a large pool to enjoy and relax during your stay. Breakfast is complete with both sweets and salty food.

One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...

It is nice and quite place. We booked cause of it has jacuzzi which we had a little time to enjoy in the morning. The breakfast was the best for us. Served in the picnic basket, all what we got was delicious (fresh cheese, bread, crosaints...). Highly recommended.
