Featuring 4-star accommodation, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels is located in Porto Moniz, 200 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Located within 400 metres of Marina do Funchal and 13 km of Girao Cape in Funchal, King David Suites by Madeira Sun Travel provides accommodation with seating area. Property itself is brand new, pleasant to be in. The facilities given were great. Staff was super attentive, always checking on us and providing quick answers to our concerns. As we went to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks, we were delighted with the location. Plenty of restaurants and activities to do. Would definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Funchal.

Situated within less than 1 km of Marina do Funchal and 14 km of Girao Cape, Tanoeiros Residence by An Island Apart features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Funchal. Well equipped kitchen (we cooked our own breakfasts and often also dinners). Clean, spacious bathroom, everything one might need in the kitchen, close to the bus station(s), ocean, restaurants, etc.

Attractively situated in Funchal, Living Funchal iNN is a recently renovated apartment, which features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Best location! 2 minutes from airport bus stop and five minutes by walk from the coast. The room is huge and you have more than you need for 1-2 nights. Best thing was the washing machine and the balcony.

Ocean Paradise do Til is situated in the Imaculado Coracao de Maria district of Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal, 13 km from Girao Cape and 40 km from Santana's traditional houses. Great amenities and flexible employee (we arrived late because we did not know our way in the region, but the employee meeting us was very lenient. The only thing was the noise outside, but I dont think it was particular to this apartment but more of a city thing. With the 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms, would absolutely recommend!

In the Santa Luzia district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul features an infinity pool and a washing machine. Amazing apartment, all is new and modern, and with stunning views! It was the perfect start to our vacation, definitely recommend if you want to have the best first impression of Funchal right when you wake up.

Casal da Penha Apartments offers accommodation within 600 metres of the centre of Funchal, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. Everything. Clean and spacious apartment in a very nice and not very crowded location. Maikel was simply the most amazing host ever, helping us with everything we needed and always keeping a table ready for us in his restaurant (which served delicious food and all the staff was super friendly and nice) :)

Situated within 200 metres of Sao Roque Beach and 300 metres of Banda d'Alem Beach, Fort Bay Suite Apartments features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Machico. Everything was as in the offer. Nice, clean and comfortable.

Located in Porto Moniz and only 4.6 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, CASA CAROTO provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice host Isabella. Warm welcome. Appartment is very clean. Peaceful stay. Nice balcony with beautiful view. You have your own parkingspace. 100% recommend.

Situated in Funchal and only 500 metres from Almirante Reis Beach, Apartments Madeira Barreirinha features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location is superb on the edge of Funchal overlooking the ocean near excellent restaurants, the old town and a short walk to the funicular and centre. Sara, who met us at the apartment, was extremely kind and gave us really good suggestions about what to do, where to eat, etc. It was very quiet. I highly recommend this apartment.
