Situated just 16 km from Pico do Carvao, Alto do Forte provides accommodation in Ponta Delgada with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, as well as a lift. Staff was wonderful and accommodating and helpful. breakfast was good, may add some variety to make it better rooms were wonderful but wifi spotty beds comfy, and cleaning staff wonderful property is in a good location, pool was cold and had chemicals that hurt the eyes, but the hot tub was a great alternative driveway was steep and garage very tight, would suggest small cars only

Impressed by the quality, cleanliness, and convenience of the place. The hosts and workers friendly, helpful, and responsive, and they go out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They also provide me with everything needed. Property has a variety of fruit trees that one can pick and munch on, yum yum Birds at property wake you up singing everyday, chicken lay eggs one can eat, rare pheasants at the property, and peacocks.

Located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from São Roque Beach, Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel features accommodation with a hot tub, a hammam and spa facilities. We had a unique experience at this hotel. When we arrived to check in, they told us they have had a problem in the system and there was a double booking on the same room and they were full, they had no room for us. However, the manager apologised, and offered us another accommodation in a partner hotel of theirs. Not only the place they found was perfect, but she drove us to the location itself and cared about finding a solution to a problem that can happen to anyone. This whole story shows that I might not know how the hotel is, but I can tell you it’s ran by people with good heart that truly care, and that you cannot find very often.

The condo was in a great location and there were very comfortable places to hang out in the unit. The unit had great air conditioning on every room. They stocked the fridge with water, juice and baked bread. The manager was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. would definitely stay here again!

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The place was beautiful and comfortable, with all the basic necessities covered! The host Diane was wonderful and made us feel very welcomed and made everything very easy for us! If ee go back to São Miguel we will definitely go back to Vila Emigrante :)

Featuring a patio with city views, a rooftop pool and a fitness centre, Casa da Galeria - Azores Art of Hosting can be found in Ponta Delgada, close to Portas da Cidade and 12 km from Pico do Carvao. The staff was really attentive with the guests and the communication felt really friendly. They always provided whatever we asked for and gave us a lot of useful recommendations. They paid a lot of attention to details (e.g. having two child seats in the transfer shuttle to/from the airport, making arrangements for activities suited for our family, etc.) and we felt welcomed. The same level of attention to details was put into the furnishings and design of the rooms and overall hotel with high quality appliances in the kitchen (e.g. Bosch dish washers which are generally 2-3 times more expensive than other brands) This was by far the best accommodation we had during our stay in Azores and we'll definitely stay here again when we come back.

Set in Furnas in the São Miguel region, Flamingo Apartment features a balcony. The property is situated 2.3 km from Lagoa das Furnas, 6.3 km from Pico do Ferro and 15 km from Lagoa do Congro. The amenities were great. Everything was clean, the location was good, free convenient parking which was a 2 minute walk at the football field. We enjoyed the coffee maker, the refrigerator and the balcony.

Set within 13 km of Pico do Carvao and 25 km of Sete Cidades Lagoon, Matriz Lofts offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ponta Delgada. Nuno picked us up from the airport (and to the airport when leaving), drove us to the accommodation and showed us around. Very hospitable! The place itself had everything we could ever need during our stay. It was very roomy, very well kept and in perfect location. Walking distance to beach (10min), parking, groceries, bars and restaurants. We traveled the whole island and each evening would return back here.
