Property is really cool, either nice features, complete to a beautiful and functional stay. It’s located 1h from the Serra da Estrela Torre, what’s a good distance. The village is really quiet, but don’t have many things to do. I recommend the stay here.

It was a gem of a place in a small peaceful mountain village. It was a comfortable place and had everything we needed. The host was especially wonderful and we enjoyed meeting her very much.

It very was clean, tidy, pretty enough even for 4 people, and ready to stay. Silent, peaceful, and full of utensils. Not need to bring anything, self care products were ready too: shampoo, towels, ...The iron was really good. We love every morning to see the beautiful mountain view. The owner was very helpful also. Close to UBI buildings and attractions in the city. If we visit Covilha again, we would love to stay in Altavista. Thank you so much🙏

First of all, let me mention extremely helpful host family who helped us find the place. One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...
