On this guided tour, you will explore Great Sandy Marine Park in a glass-bottom boat.
Accompanied by a member of the Butchulla (the Aborigines of Fraser Island), you will learn about the history of the region’s Indigenous people as you cruise past sandy dunes and lush islands. While you sail, you can admire coral gardens, turtles, dolphins and reef sharks swimming beneath the boat. For a closer look at the marine life, you can also snorkel.
Along the way, you’ll stop by Round Island, where you can sit down for lunch and explore the island. If conditions permit, you will also get the chance to visit Pelican Bank, a white-sand tidal flat off the coast of Fraser Island.
