Görlitz is a beautiful easterly town in Germany which has over 3,500 architectural monuments spanning 500 years. Medieval buildings, art nouveau architecture can be found in this small town of only 50 thousand inhabitants. Görlitz’s medieval architecture was saved from the bombings of the Second World War but still has grand streets, squares of the late 19th century and ornate art nouveau houses enough to leave an impression.

Pass along the beautiful Schönhof, the oldest civil Renaissance building in Germany, a former brewery and one of the most splendid buildings in the town.
