In this experience, you’ll have the chance to try traditional wool dyeing and weaving with UNESCO-recognized artisan weavers in Peru’s Sacred Valley.
After arriving at the workshop, you’ll begin your experience with an introduction to the weavers and a brief overview of the local textile industry. You’ll then take a short tour of the workshop and watch a demonstration of the garment production process, learning more about the history of dyeing and weaving in the region.
You’ll then have the opportunity to try your hand at the production process, beginning with preparing and dyeing the wool before weaving the material. You’ll be able to get help from an assistant throughout your activity before taking home your finished product and a certificate at the end of your experience.
