The apartment at Casa Branka is small but very well-equipped. When I booked the apartment, I thought there were two bedrooms, but there is only one with the possibility of four beds. We solved the problem by having our daughter sleep in the kitchen (there's enough space) while my husband and I stayed in the bedroom. The apartment has a large covered terrace with a table, a hammock, and deck chairs, so we spent most of our time on the terrace. Additionally, there is a beautiful view of the black sand beach and the sea from the terrace. We were welcomed by the host's friend, who was extremely kind; he offered us transportation to the shopping area and told us about some lovely hidden spots in San Antao, which greatly contributed to the comfort of our stay.

This place was perfect for us. Lovely pool with comfy loungers. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Although it was self catering they can cook dinner for you and we had a delicious meal with dessert (1800 CVE for 2 people). The apartment was large and clean and well equipped. We were surprised and pleased that they had provided some breakfast provisions

Our stay at Cap Azul was amazing! The location is absolutely incredible, with unbeatable sea views and the sound of waves as you sleep—pure relaxation. The photos don’t do it justice; it’s even more beautiful in person. Guillaume the owner is very friendly, and check-in and check-out were seamless. The breakfast was delicious and overall, it was the perfect stay, and we highly recommend it!

The accommodation is very cozy and peacefully located. Having a car is definitely recommended. We stayed there for four nights and truly enjoyed it, using it as a base for our hiking trips by car, as we preferred not to change accommodations multiple times on Santo Antão. Our host, Eric, and his family were incredibly kind and put a lot of effort into making sure everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

Ocean views, towering cliffs, acces to 3 stunning valleys. Paradise location. Very Remote, yet building has a simple resteraunt and shop. And a good breakfast was included. Resteraunt meal very good value. Perfect reclusive accomodation. Basic, no frills.

I am writing this review 21.2.2023, more than 1 month after the end of my trip to Cabo Verde, so I will not remember all details: Best was the comfort of the bed. Probably the best bed in all the many hotels and appartments. Great sleeping comfort in the double bed. I stayed alone there, it would have been a nice place for a group though. No idea if the other beds are as comfi. Very tasteful design of interior. It is a nice place to stay for a night or two, when doing hiking around. Seems every now and then there are some parties / events also.
