I love this place despite the obvious frustrations from time to time. It's peaceful and a series of apartments either on the ground floor with a terrace or first floor with balcony. The apartments are spacious with a galley kitchen and shower room. The apartments are clean and well equipped. The pool is saltwater and natural and the views to the beach lovely. Fondo the manager is very helpful and all the cleaners super friendly. Eventually they sorted everything out and hence the score of 8 not 6/7!

Fantastic place, so many different areas to chill and relax. Set back from the beach so no hassle from beach sellers. Really open and nice breeze to keep you cool. All the staff were brilliant.

It is a hotel that holds all the wonders of Africa in the past but has all the creature comforts of the present. You could wonder around the grounds all day and be fascinated by the art. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they seem to be very happy working there. The owner is always hands-on and they seem to be one happy family, which rubs off on their kindness to their guests. Great location right on the beach with security to fend off the usual beach boys selling their wares. Special thanks to Gimmy, the head waiter/ bar man. A real Gent, professional, helpful, and respectful.
