The neighbourhood is quiet so you can even sleep with the window open. The rooms are perfectly equipped, what I liked most was the heated floor at the bathroom.

Set within 14 km of Topography of Terror and 14 km of Checkpoint Charlie, Pension Wernicke-Das-Original offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Berlin. The room was basic but had everything I required. There's a delicious Thai restaurant in the same building and many other dining choices nearby, including a large grocery store. This neighborhood is outside of the historical part of Berlin but there are busses and the S Bahn close by and it is quiet and felt very safe. Getting in was easy as well. Served my purpose...it was clean and the manager was very friendly.
