The location is close to most tourist spots in the area, everything is newly renovated and decorated with good taste, the breakfast was very good and, most importantly, everyone in the staff was very nice. Staying there was truly a pleasure and we would love to come back soon.

Absolutely gorgeous garden to relax in with a cool drink provided by our host. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented with fresh warm baked bread rolls. Bright, clean accommodation with small balcony. Fridge provided also in room. Superb value for money. Already recommended to German friends.

Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! The breakfast was of really good quality and really tasty! The owner is really professional, attentive and makes you feel at home, we loved staying there and enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from our bedroom!

The setting was lovely and the grounds beautifully thought out with many separate seating areas to enjoy and gorgeous plantings throughout. The renovated main building retained its history while still being transformed into comfortable guest lodgings with every detail considered. The wonderful hosts were very gracious and welcoming, providing a comprehensive breakfast, and the animals on the grounds were adorable and entertaining. We would love to return and spend more time.
