B&B: This bed and breakfast has an interesting history in WW2, some serious fighting was done in the area. The owner is very kind and helpful, she is always available for questions and excited to share her knowledge and the history of this B&B and the surrounding area in the World War 2 era. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very quiet in the evening. We had a great view of the front courtyard and the back garden. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean, it beats even some 3 stars hotels that I've stayed in in the past. The breakfast was delicious with fresh baked bread and different sorts of French cheeses. We even had some homemade crêpes on the first day! The breakfast room was also decorated in various WW2 items. Overall, we had a great stay at this B&B and look forward to returning in the future! 👍

Located in Le Vast, in a historic building, 12 km from Tatihou Fort, LA VALLEE JOLY is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and bar. exceptionally welcoming hosts. Very quite and relaxing. My French vocabulary is very limited but the hosts made sure I was not left out. Good food

Located in Saint-Germain-sur-Ay and only 47 km from Haras of Saint-Lô, Cottage des Mézières provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The rooms were lovely, the property was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Lavender lines the walkway to the room, and it smells wonderful! These were the most comfortable beds we have slept in on our 2 week trip. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the homemade jams, and if we are in this area again, we'll will surely stay here again!

Set within 27 km of Tatihou Fort and 33 km of German War Cimetery in Audouville-la-Hubert, Manoir de Pierreville provides accommodation with seating area. Loved the owners. The house was beautiful! The room was spacious and so nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious & kept us full until evening. Really wished we could have stayed longer.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated La suite features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property has garden and city views, and is 28 km from Tatihou Fort. La suite is possibly one of the nicest accommodations that we have ever used. The house itself has been lovingly restored to its former glory in a manner which retains many original features. Our host Florent was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, as well as just simply being a real nice kinda fella. We will definitely not pass through Sainte-Mère-Église again without booking a room for a night or two. Absolutely beautiful property.

Motorcycle friendly with secure garage. Nice bakery close by Only French spoken so use Google translate or similar - Don't shout at them in English like someone who should be in Benidorm, it will just make you look stupid LOL

Set in Saint-Germain-le-Gaillard and only 26 km from La Cite de la Mer, A la Ferme de Saint Germain offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room was very nice, very new (great shower), very tasteful design, very clean. Kristel was always very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. Family dog - so cute and friendly. We recommend coming here, it is nice for couples and families. The Cotentin Peninsula offers wonderful beaches for a calm vacation (best on wheels).
