This hotel was was tucked away in the old quarter and was very comfortable. The host was very hospitable and organized it so that I could park inside the property as I had 2 bikes on my car. Breakfast was excellent and then a short walk around a the town before moving on was easy as we were so close to the centre.

La Guette has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Cercy-la-Tour, 45 km from Magny-Cours Circuit. Delicious homemade marmelades from owner were really outstanding.

Lovely old property about 500m from town centre with big garden and quiet spots to sit. Separate entrance. First floor bedroom with ensuite. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast served by host Marit and using locally sourced and home made preserves. Wonderful friendly hosts and they will even do a wash load if you are cyclists. It’s just off the Loire route so we’ll located as a stop off. Marit had booked us into a restaurant in town as it was a Saturday and usually booked out. Excellent food and not expensive.

Boasting a garden and views of river, Chambre d'hôtes "Au bord de Loire" is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in La Marche, 22 km from Nevers Train Station. What a great place, full of character, really helpful people, breakfast and dinner were brilliant, top marks to the chef. Secure parking overnight. Just right, very relaxed, lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower.

Le Clos Ligérien, a property with a garden, is located in Nevers, less than 1 km from Ducal Palace of Nevers, 17 km from Magny-Cours Circuit, as well as less than 1 km from Nevers Cathedral. Marvelous accommodations, wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was excellent, the bedroom was comfortable and inviting. The host gave us a warm welcome, great local recommendations, and made us feel at home. Hope to visit again!

Set in Bazoches and only 13 km from Vézelay Basilica, LE RELAIS VAUBAN offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. An excellent place to stop when travelling though this area of France.

Offering a garden and city view, Le 1930, chambres d’hôtes de charme is situated in Cosne Cours sur Loire, 42 km from Castle of Saint Brisson and 45 km from La Bussière Castle. Totally authentic settings in the rooms and amazing ambiance. Thierry did everything he possibly could to make our stay super comfortable. He also speaks excellent English. We only stayed one night but even so it was a bit of a shock to return to the reality of 2023. Time travel at its best!

Located in Chevroches and with Auxerre clock tower reachable within 45 km, Le Domaine des Carriers provides express check-in and check-out, soundproof rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a... we stayed in this place for several days, and we really liked it, very interesting location, and cozy inside, we will definitely come back here and recommend it to friends
